How I work

A gated pipeline from idea to post-launch.

Every app I build moves through nine phases. Each phase ends at a gate: the checks have to be done and the documents approved before the project can advance. The sprint board and documents carry forward, so nothing is lost between phases.

1
Idea
Capture the idea and what it should achieve.
2
Viability
Check it is worth building before any time is spent building it.
3
Spec
Write down exactly what the app will and won't do.
4
Design
An architecture decision record, the architecture, the screen map and UX flows, and the technical design, each approved in turn.
5
Build
Native SwiftUI in Xcode, one sprint at a time.
6
Code Review
Review the code before it goes into testing.
7
Test
Quality checks, then a review against the App Store guidelines.
8
Release
Store listing, submission and launch.
9
Post-launch
Follow up after release: feedback, fixes and what comes next.

One dashboard for every project

I built my own pipeline tool to keep every project honest. This is my live portfolio view: where each app sits in the nine phases, whether its gate is clear, what is still open, and how long it has been in the phase.

My pipeline dashboard showing every app across the nine phases, with its gate status, what is still open and time in phase
Gate checks
A phase can't advance until its checks are done. Skipping a gate is a deliberate, visible choice.
Documents you can approve
Each gate has its documents. AI agents draft them, and every one is reviewed and approved before it counts.
Time in each phase
A running view of how long every phase has taken, so slippage shows up early.
AI drafting, tracked
I even track what the agent drafts cost, so the AI help never turns into a surprise.

AI-assisted, human-gated

AI agents do the drafting inside each phase. They don't make the decisions. Every gate is a decision made by me and, on client work, approved by you.

The documents carry forward

The brief, the spec, the architecture decisions and the sprint board follow the project from one phase to the next. The reasons behind a choice are written down once and still there at release.
